This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application AutoPulse (the “App”). Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. 2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT a) Information You Provide – Account registration details (name, email address, password) – Vehicle service history (odometer readings at time of last service) – Photos of your vehicle (if you choose to upload them) b) Information Collected Automatically via Smartcar API When you connect your vehicle through Smartcar, we access: – Vehicle identification (year, make, model, VIN) – Current odometer reading – Fuel type (gas or electric) We only request the minimum permissions necessary to provide our service. We do not access your vehicle’s location, driving behavior, or any other data beyond what is listed above. c) Usage Data – App usage statistics – Crash reports and error logs – Device type and operating system version 3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION We use the information we collect to: – Create and manage your account – Connect to your vehicle via the Smartcar API – Calculate when vehicle services are due based on your odometer readings – Send you push notifications about upcoming or overdue maintenance – Process your subscription payments – Improve the performance and reliability of the App – Respond to customer support requests 4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: a) Smartcar We use Smartcar’s API to connect to your vehicle. Your vehicle connection is governed by Smartcar’s Privacy Policy, available at https://smartcar.com/privacy. b) Supabase We use Supabase to securely store your account data and service records. c) RevenueCat We use RevenueCat to manage your subscription. Payment processing is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and we do not store your payment information. d) Legal Requirements We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests. 5. DATA RETENTION We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. 6. VEHICLE DATA We access your vehicle’s odometer reading periodically to track mileage and determine when services are due. We do not access your vehicle’s GPS location, driving history, speed, or any other telemetry beyond odometer data and vehicle identification. You can disconnect your vehicle from AutoPulse at any time through the App or through your Smartcar account at https://smartcar.com. 7. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS We send push notifications to remind you of upcoming and overdue vehicle maintenance. You can manage or disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or within the App. 8. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY AutoPulse is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information. 9. SECURITY We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data storage and secure API connections. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. 10.
